Dr Capicotto lived up to his highly praised reputation as a spine surgeon for which I'm extremely grateful!! After spending an entire year in pain and trying other methods to no avail, almost immediately I felt relief after surgery.
Also, a SPECIAL thank you to 2 outstanding members of Dr Capicotto's team Leslie Sonders and Bernadette. Together they made my post op appointments ALMOST pleasant. Luv yu guys!!

I strongly recommend Greater Rochester Orthopaedics if you’re in need of joint replacement surgery👍The staff there are very courteous and helpful.
The wait time after check in is only a couple of minutes. I am impressed with the efficiency with which they conduct themselves👍
Most of all I want to give kudos to Dr Frank Pupparo. He is a wonderful human being. 5 years ago he was the surgeon who conducted hip replacement surgery for my right hip and 3 months ago he conducted knee replacement for my left knee. Both surgeries have been a spectacular success and have really improved the quality of my life.
I said earlier that he is a wonderful human being. He obviously cares about the welfare of his patients with regular checks and encouraging words.
Dr Pupparo is very skilled in what he does and I can’t thank him enough for what he has done for me.
Impending joint replacement surgery? I thoroughly recommend GRO and Dr Frank Pupparo👍👍

Many doctors later I was referred to Dr. Capicotto. During this appointment he did an exam of my back and reviewed the previous x-rays and MRIs and explained what was wrong with my back and he could help me. After 11 months of unrelenting pain that was so bad I was literally bent at the waist, going up stairs was horrible, life came to a very painful stand still. March 2018 he performed a spinal fusion. I now am 95% pain free. I have the greatest respect and gratitude for Dr. Capicotto and is staff (Leslie Sonders, Mary and Kim). I would give this gifted surgeon a "100 stars" if I could. Dianne

Very professional and very thorough care and attention by all , from the front desk staff to your PAs and MDs..I am so grateful to have been seen on the same day as my own MD referred me to your office; and am very grateful for the prompt surgical intervention! So far, my knee is doing great!

Yesterday I was seen by Aaron Bishop a PA.
I have had back pain for months. I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to thank him for being very thorough and kind.
It made me feel better knowing what was wrong and how to go forward with my pain.
Thank you, Dr Ralph Pascale

I visited Greater Rochester orthopedics today because I have a problem with my left knee. The receptionist and nurses affiliated with Dr Pupparo were very efficient in getting my X Rays sorted out. Dr Pupparo is a terrific guy both in patient relations and medical skills. He was the surgeon for my hip replacement 4 years ago and it was a spectacular success. Now I need a knee replacement. I am praying that United Healthcare will settle with Unity hospital so that Dr Pupparo can operate on me. I have 100% confidence in Dr Pupparo for his surgical skills. I don’t want anyone else. United Healthcare I hope you read this. You are denying me and many people like me from getting the best care that I need at this time in my life.

My Dad is alive today thanks to Physician Assistant, Tom Frosini, and the wonderful staff at GRO. Dad went in complaining of back pain. Xrays showed an old fracture. If Tom had accepted that as the complete answer an MRI might never have been ordered, but Tom looked further. He ordered an MRI to insure Dad had not developed spinal cancer. There was no sign of cancer, but Tom spotted an "incidental finding" that could cause back pain. Dad had an abdominal aortic aneurysm. When those rupture, people die. In this case, Tom spotted it early enough that Dad was able to have a vascular surgeon treat the condition. He is now pain free and no longer has a condition that could literally kill him at any moment. God Bless the staff at GRO!
